What is Storytime?

Storytime is a free service of the Burlington Public Library. It is an opportunity to introduce children to reading and language in a fun way. Storytimes may include song and rhyme activities, storytelling, and puppets, as well as books.

Which Storytime is right for my child?

Babytime is an opportunity for parents to introduce babies up to 18 months to simple stories and songs. Babytime is 20 minutes long.

Toddler Time is for children 18-36 months old. Caregivers and children interact with stories and songs selected with toddlers in mind! Toddler Time is about 25 minutes long.

3's & 4's Time is a transitional storytime for children who are ready to sit and listen to longer stories. This storytime is about 30 minutes long.

Pajama Time is designed for families. Stories and activities are most appropriate for children ages 3-7. When this storytime is held during the day, it is called Family Time.
