T.A.G. @ The Burlington Public Library

What is T.A.G.?

The Teen Advisory Group (T.A.G.) was established on November 3rd of 2008. T.A.G. was formed to give teens the opportunity to be heard within Burlington Public Library. There are four primary focuses of the group:

  1. To make suggestions for additions to Burlington’s Young Adult collection. (Collection includes: books, video games, movies, magazines, graphic novels, and music.)
  2. To brainstorm ideas for programs as well as get the programs up and running.
  3. To help make the Young Adult area of the library more personal and inviting.
  4. To assist the YA Librarian in managing Burlington Library’s online teen spaces.

Who can join?

Any young adult in grades 6-12 (or home school equivalent) is welcomed in T.A.G.

How much time will T.A.G. involve?

T.A.G has 2 one-hour meetings a month which fall on the first and third Tuesday from 7:30 to 8:30. These meetings are held at the Burlington Public Library unless otherwise noted. Members are also asked to support the programs they create!
