The Friends of the Burlington Public Library hold two weekend-long book sales each year, generally in April and October. Thousands of "previously read" books, audio-books, DVDs and music CDs are offered for purchase at a very modest price. Choose from general fiction, history, biography, travel, health, computing, home-improvement, hobbies and more. There is always an extensive collection of books, puzzles, music and films for children as well.
A special "Friends' Night" precedes the public sale, giving Friends members first choice of all items for sale. Not a member? Did you let your membership lapse? You can pay your dues at the door: membership application form is available online or at the library.
Can't wait for the next booksale? Check out the "Ongoing Booksale" in a specially marked bookcase on the main floor of the library, close to the New Books section.
